The NRMQLD PlaceStories network site is a resource to support communication and collaboration across Queensland's natural resource management regions.
NRMQLD PlaceStories is administered by the Queensland Regional Natural Resource Management Groups Collective, which represents the state-wide interests of fifteen Regional Natural Resource Management Bodies in Queensland. The Collective aims to improve the state-wide delivery of regional outcomes in partnership with all stakeholders including industry, community, research and development organisations and government, and to act as a leadership body through the promotion of a long-term holistic approach to natural resource management.

NRMQLD PlaceStories aims to connect and support active natural resource managers throughout Queensland. This Community is part of a growing PlaceStories NRM Network. The aim is to build a system that provides for the digital storytelling and online communication needs of all fifty-six natural resource management regions nationally, as well as a number of other key state-wide networks and agencies.
The PlaceStories NRM network provides members with a powerful digital storytelling and communication system to help natural resource managers to:
• Document their natural resource management work
• Report on their natural resource management projects
• Monitor and evaluate natural resource management activities
• Share natural resource management successes and key learnings with others
• Promote effective natural resource management practices
• Communicate and collaborate online
